Sportsmetrics is a published, scientifically-proven training program that significantly reduces the risk of serious knee-ligament injuries in athletes. It is for junior high, high school and college athletes. It consists of 20 total sessions (three per week for six weeks).
The program increases lower extremity strength and vertical jump height and decreases lower extremity muscle imbalances. Athletes will undergo a sports-injury test, which measures several important factors relating to their strength, coordination and body alignment. Testing includes previous history of sport participation and injuries, video analysis of jumping and landing techniques, functional hop test, Vertec vertical jump assessment, strength and flexibility.
