A Revolutionary Approach to Joint Replacement Care
Every year, about 1,200 patients undergo hip or knee replacement surgery at Memorial Medical Center. With our innovative JointWorks program, an expert team of orthopedic surgeons, anesthesiologists, nurses, therapists, and social workers will guide you from pre-surgery education through post-surgery rehabilitation.
The goal of JointWorks is to eliminate pain and discomfort in your unhealthy joint and increase your mobility, enabling you to return to the highest possible quality of life.
The JointWorks program is also offered at our affiliate locations:
When you and your physician decide that you need a hip or knee replacement, your physician will schedule you for surgery at Memorial. A JointWorks program coordinator will call you to schedule your joint replacement education class. You'll learn there how to prepare for surgery, and what to expect in the hospital and as you recover at home.
Our goal is to work with you to help you become more independent and lead a pain-free life. For more information, call us at 217-788-3655, or toll free at 800-956-2436.
