A Revolutionary Approach to Joint Replacement Care
Every year, more than 1,200 patients undergo hip or knee replacement surgery at Memorial Medical Center. With our innovative JointWorks program, an experienced team of orthopedic surgeons, anesthesiologists, nurses, therapists, and social workers guides the patient from pre-surgery education through post-surgery rehabilitation.
JointWorks has been designed to meet your needs for information and improved joint function. Our goals are to eliminate pain and discomfort in your unhealthy joint and increase your mobility, enabling you to return to the highest possible quality of life.
Once you and your physician decide that you are a candidate for total joint replacement and he or she schedules you for surgery at Memorial, the JointWorks program coordinator will call you to schedule your joint replacement education class. This class provides you with a tremendous amount of information related to your upcoming surgery.
We know that it is important for you to become an active partner in your care. Therefore, questions and comments are strongly encouraged at all phases of your joint replacement process. Our orthopedic team is dedicated to helping you reach your goals, and Memorial Medical Center is committed to providing you with state-of-the-art programs and unsurpassed quality care. Together, we will help you become more independent in your pain-free lifestyle.
