Teleneurology

Memorial's Teleneurology technology uses real-time audio-videoconferencing to provide community hospitals with 24-hour access to stroke-trained neurologists. Using this technology reduces the time it takes to identify and treat stroke patients with life-saving, clot-busting drugs and improves outcomes for patients.

Surgery

We use a multitude of modern technologies in surgery geared specifically for neurological needs: Stealth Station surgical navigation system, which is image-guided surgery to pinpoint tumors; O-arm Surgical Imaging System; SRS (stereotactic radiosurgery); state-of-the-art microscopes; laser treatment for tumors; and fluorescence technology, which isolates tumors or aneurysms by injecting dye that turns a specific color.

Imaging

Neuroscience medical imaging Our medical imaging services include a 3T wide bore MRI, 128-slice low-dose CT, a 64 Dual tube CT scanner with perfusion software and stereotactic radiosurgery (SRS). These medical imaging devices are considered state-of-the art and enable our surgeons and physicians to provide you with the most accurate diagnosis possible.

Neurophysiology Lab

Electroneurodiagnostic services provided by our neurophysiology lab offers physicians and patients assistance with effective diagnosis and management of many neurological disorders.

Pharmacy

Our automated drug management system works around the clock in our Pharmacy Department to process thousands of doses of medication every day.

Rehabilitation

Our expert rehabilitation therapists use technology to improve balance; regain strength, coordination and function in a person’s arm or leg; and improve a person’s ability to swallow.

Medical Records

And our electronic medical record system enables your caregivers to gain access to your medical information when they need it, rather than spending time tracking down your records on a paper chart.
