Specialized Services

Memorial offers a full range of multidisciplinary and innovative care to diagnose, treat and educate our patients. Not only do we have a number of specialized services to help meet your neurological health needs, but we also host several support groups where you can interact with other patients as you reintegrate into the community.

Joint Commission Designation

Designated as a comprehensive stroke center by The Joint Commission, our Stroke Center tailors treatment to your individual needs, adheres to national stroke guidelines and continually assesses and improves how our care is delivered. We have a collaborative, interdisciplinary approach to stroke care with an integrated program that addresses the complete spectrum of care from prevention to rehabilitation.

TEAMStroke using Teleneurology Technology

Memorial also partners with hospitals in the area to provide real-time audio-video conferencing through our TEAMStroke program using teleneurology technology. Round-the-clock access to our team of stroke experts enables us to partner with outlying hospitals to quickly and accurately assess, diagnose and treat stroke patients. The telestroke technology enables patients to be treated more quickly at their local hospital, saving time and precious brain tissue for stroke victims.

Neurointerventional Radiology

Neurointerventional radiology treats neurological disorders from inside the blood vessels. This minimally invasive technique effectively treats conditions such as stroke, aneurysms, stenosis, tumors and malformations.

Bloodless Brain Surgery

Brain disorders, such as tumors and other abnormalities, are effectively treated using stereotactic radiosurgery (SRS), which delivers focused radiation beams to a specific area of the brain.

CARF-Accredited Inpatient Rehabilitation

With services ranging from acute care to post-acute rehabilitation, Memorial Rehab Services offers comprehensive, integrated care in neurology and neurosurgery as well as occupational medicine and rehabilitation. Our continuum of care includes specialized neurologic care units, CARF-accredited inpatient rehabilitation, home rehabilitation services and a broad range of outpatient neurodiagnostic and therapy services in multiple clinic locations.
