Dr. Leslie J. Acakpo-Satchivi Memorial Neuroscience

Dr. Leslie J. Acakpo-Satchivi

Dr. Acakpo-Satchivi specializes in neurological surgery and pediatric neurosurgery with special interest in congenital mallomations of the brain and spine, degenerative disc disease, hydrocephalus, normal pressure hydrocephalus, spinal stenosis, tethered cord and tumors of the brain and spine.

He earned his medical and graduate degrees from Albert Einstein College of Medicine, Bronx, N.Y., and completed his neurosurgery residency at Ohio State University College of Medicine.

He completed a fellowship in pediatric neurosurgery at James Whitcomb Riley Children's Hospital in Indianapolis. Dr. Acakpo-Satchivi is board certified in neurological surgery and is a member of the American Association of Neurological Surgeons.


Dr. Devin V. Amin Memorial Neuroscience

Dr. Devin V. Amin

Dr. Amin specializes in neurological surgery and has special interest in minimally invasive techniques and endoscopic pituitary and skull base surgeries.

He earned his medical degree and completed his residency in neurological surgery at the University of Pittsburgh. He is board eligible in neurological surgery and is an assistant professor at SIU School of Medicine.


Dr. Jeffrey Cozzens Memorial Neuroscience

Dr. Jeffrey Cozzens

Dr. Cozzens specializes in neurological surgery with special interest in microsurgery of the spine, epilepsy, brain tumor and Parkinson's disease surgeries as well as movement disorders.

He earned his medical degree at the University of Illinois School of Medicine, Chicago, and completed his residency in neurosurgery at Northwestern University Medical School. He completed fellowships in trauma neurosurgery at Cook County Hospital and epilepsy and stereotactic neurosurgery at the University of Minnesota Medical School.

He is board certified in neurological surgery and is a professor and chair of the Division of Neurosurgery at SIU School of Medicine.


Dr. Jose A. Espinosa Memorial Neuroscience

Dr. Jose A. Espinosa

Dr. Espinosa specializes in neurological surgery with focus on epilepsy and computer-assisted surgeries, microsurgery of the spine, radiosurgery and brain and pituitary tumors.

He earned his medical degree at the University of Panama Faculty of Medicine and completed his residency in neurosurgery at McGill University, Canada.

He is board certified in neurosurgery and is a tenured associate professor at SIU School of Medicine.


Dr. Margaret MacGregor Memorial Neuroscience

Dr. Margaret MacGregor

Dr. MacGregor specializes in neurological surgery and provides comprehensive evaluation and treatment in surgical disorders of the brain, spine and peripheral nerves.

She earned her medical degree from UMDNJ-New Jersey School of Medicine, and completed residencies in neurosurgery at UMDNJ-New Jersey School of Medicine and Loyola University Stritch School of Medicine Chicago. She received her graduate degree from Universitat Hamburg, Germany.

She is board certified in neurological surgery and is a member of the American Association of Neurological Surgeons, American Board of Neurological Surgery, American College of Surgeons, American Medical Association, Congress of Neurological Surgeons, Illinois State Medical Society and Sangamon County Medical Society.

 


Dr. Brian K. Russell Memorial Neuroscience

Dr. Brian K. Russell

Dr. Russell specializes in neurological surgery with a focus on intracranial/skull base tumors and minimally invasive spine surgery.

He earned his medical degree from SIU School of Medicine and completed his residency in neurosurgery at the University of Kansas School of Medicine.

He is board certified in neurological surgery. Dr. Russell is a member of the American Association of Neurological Surgeons, American Board of Neurological Surgery, American College of Surgeons, American Medical Association, Congress of Neurological Surgeons, Illinois State Medical Society, Illinois State Neurosurgical Society and Sangamon County Medical Society.
