Our Fundamentals of Critical Care Support (FCCS) course is two days in length. Each day begins at 7:45 a.m. and ends at 4:30 p.m. The course takes place in Springfield, IL at the Memorial Center for Learning and Innovation (MCLI). The FCCS curriculum is intended to introduce principles important in the initial care of critically ill/injured patients to physicians, physicians-in-training, nurses, and other healthcare providers who may or may not be skilled in critical care, but who must care for such patients during early stabilization and in anticipation of the arrival of an intensivist, specialist, or pending transfer of a patient to a tertiary center.
$350 (Deadline is 2 weeks before class date to ensure delivery of textbook)
Once payment for the course is received, a textbook will be shipped to the address provided durning registration.
Registrations begins at 7:30 a.m., with the course starting promptly at 7:45 a.m. A pre-test will be distributed during registration.
Read the textbook before arrival. Both your knowledge of the contents of the textbook and the information presented during the course will be evaluated on the test.
Be sure to bring your textbook to the course. No extra copies will be available. Also, please write your name on your textbook. Bring license to practice, certification information (if certified), and society membership number (members only).
