Volunteers are a vital part of fulfilling our mission to improve the health of the people and communities we serve! Our traditional volunteers staff the gift shop, assist with floral deliveries, escort patients and visitors throughout the hospital, staff waiting room desks, provide support to patients in Infusion Services and the Emergency Department, interact with children at Memorial Child Care, and serve in a variety of other roles. Friends of Memorial
Friends of Memorial is a group of committed and passionate individuals who support Memorial Medical Center’s mission through education and community outreach. Friends provides programs to the community such as Babysitting Clinic and SCRUBS. Sponsoring notable events like Be Aware Women’s Fair, Festival of Trees and Girls on the Run, Friends of Memorial’s impact on the health of the community stretches far outside the walls of the hospital.
