Memorial Medical Center to Host Forum on Foot, Ankle Problems

Memorial Medical Center will host a free seminar on common foot and ankle issues on Thursday, June 1, at the Memorial Center for Learning and Innovation, 228 W. Miller St.

The program, “Getting Your Feet and Ankles Ready for Summer,” begins at 6 p.m. in the H.D. Smith Tiered Classroom on the second floor.

The hour-long program will feature Dr. Benjamin W. Stevens, a board certified orthopedic surgeon who practices at Springfield Clinic. He will discuss causes and treatment of foot and ankle problems, such as bunions and hammertoes, ankle arthritis and heel pain.

Free parking is available in the Memorial Center for Learning and Innovation's parking garage at Rutledge and Carpenter streets.
