The Lincoln Elks #914 Lodge in cooperation with the Illinois Elks Children’s Care Corporation and Abraham Lincoln Memorial Hospital will once again sponsor a free children’s orthopedic assessment clinic on Tuesday, April 4 from 1 to 3 p.m. at ALMH.

TMH Hosts Mental Health First Aid Training

Taylorville Memorial Hospital hosted the first session of Mental Health First Aid Training on February 15 and 16, 2017. This training helps community members learn how to identify and respond to people showing signs of mental illness and substance abuse.

Rigg Named January ALMH Employee of the Month

At the age of 17 Hazel Rigg was working in a long term care facility and immediately knew that she wanted to be a nurse. She completed her nursing degree after high school and now has a nursing career that includes experience in a variety of settings such as long term care, physician offices and hospital intensive care units. Rigg currently works in the acute care department at Abraham Lincoln Memorial Hospital in Lincoln, Illinois.

ALMH Offers Free Prenatal Classes

Abraham Lincoln Memorial Hospital announced today that it is offering free prenatal classes to expecting mothers. The classes will be offered monthly with the first class scheduled for Sunday, January 29 from 1 to 4 p.m. The classes will be held in Steinfort A at Abraham Lincoln Memorial Hospital in Lincoln.
