ALMH Offers Free Prenatal Classes

Abraham Lincoln Memorial Hospital reminds expecting families that each month it offers a free prenatal class. The next 3-hour class will be held Sunday, September 24 from 1pm – 4pm. The class will be held in Steinfort A at Abraham Lincoln Memorial Hospital located at 200 Stahlhut Drive in Lincoln, Illinois.

Kiwanis Club of Jacksonville Provides Infant Car Seats to New Parents

The Kiwanis Club of Jacksonville provides infant car seats to parents of newborns at Passavant Area Hospital. The assistance provided by the Kiwanis Club helps families safely buckle up newborns as they leave Passavant and travel home. The Kiwanis Club recently made a $1,200 donation to the Passavant Area Hospital Foundation to fund the program as part of the Club’s mission to serve children.

Hidden in Plain Sight for Adults

Since February 2016, the ALMH Community Health Collaborative, previously known as Healthy Communities Partnership, has been working with members across the community to address the opioid crisis. A resulting action plan was developed containing activities to address prevention, harm reduction, enforcement and treatment.

Hudson Named August ALMH Employee of the Month

Sherry Hudson of Kenney, Illinois has been named the August Employee of the Month at Abraham Lincoln Memorial Hospital in Lincoln. Hudson has worked in the medical records department at Abraham Lincoln Memorial Hospital since October 2012.
