School Days is a special preview of the Festival for preschool, elementary school and child care groups held the week before the Festival opens to the public. This year's School Days is Tuesday, Nov. 15 and Wednesday, Nov. 16.
During School Days, each child receives a complimentary ride on the train, creates a special craft and enjoys a snack with Santa. It takes approximately one hour to enjoy the School Days activities. The following areas of the Festival will not be open during School Days: Boutique, Snapshots with Santa, Entertainment Stage and Holiday Kitchen.
The admission fee is $5 per child. Additional children, including siblings who wish to participate in School Days activities also will be charged $5. Teachers and bus drivers receive free admission. Parents and other adults accompanying the group will be charged a $3 admission fee. Payment is due at check-in. Cash, check and credit card are accepted. Make checks payable to Festival of Trees.
Gingerbread cookies are available for purchase during School Days for $3 each.
Reservations are required due to limited seating on the train and in the snack area. Reservations are available every 15 minutes from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The online reservation form will be available in September.
