Elder Care Day is a special preview of the Festival for seniors and other adults living in group, assisted living or nursing homes. Held the week before the Festival opens to the public, this year's Elder Care Day is Thursday, Nov. 19 from 10 a.m. to
2 p.m. Enjoy live entertainment, shopping in the boutique and even a visit from Santa.
The Elder Care Day admission fee is $3. Four lunch options will be offered for $6 and gingerbread cookies will be available for $3 in the Gingerbread Bakery.
The reservation form will be available in August. Reservations are required.
Please note, not all areas of the Festival will be open on Elder Care Day. Seniors, 65 and older, are also welcome to attend Senior Day, Tuesday Nov. 24, during the Festival of Trees, however, no meal discounts or reserved seating arrangements will be made for groups from an assisted living facility or nursing home.
