Spark your holiday spirit at Memorial's Festival of Trees!
Saturday, Nov. 22 - Sunday, Nov. 30, 2014
Memorial's Festival of Trees is an annual event that raises money for health-related projects and programs at Memorial Health System and in the Springfield community.
Each year, the Festival adopts a different holiday theme and hundreds of talented local designers transform the Orr Building on the Illinois State Fairgrounds into a winter wonderland of ornate trees, wreaths and displays. The 2014 theme is Glitter & Glisten and the colors are gold, silver and white.
Now in its 25th year, the Festival has raised more than $3.5 million dollars and with annual attendance of nearly 30,000 people, it has become one of the most popular family-oriented holiday traditions in central Illinois.
The nine-day event features more than 200 trees and wreaths decorated with exquisite care by area designers; a centerpiece and gingerbread structure silent auction; an elaborate hand-crafted Gingerbread Village; the Candy Cane Express train; the Little Elves' Workshop craft area; Snapshots with Santa; a boutique full of unique gift items; hand-decorated gingerbread cookies; and entertainment featuring dozens of musical performances.
We hope you can join us at the 25th anniversary Festival of Trees. The Festival will offer you and your loved ones a fun-filled kaleidoscope of holiday sights, sounds and scents you won't forget.
