Memorial Cares

Patient Letters

Having a second surgery in six months was quite stressful, but the MMC staff helped ease my stress by being so caring.

This note is to commend the excellent personnel in ICU, from the doctors to the nurses to the registered techs to the sweet gals who cleaned the room daily!

Going from one critically ill patient to the next on a daily basis, it’s likely the medical personnel in the ICU don’t remember each situation and, understandably, they all may become a blur over time.

However, there is one patient and his wife who will never forget the kindness and genuine concern for us when I was in the ICU for 11 days and on a ventilator for 10 of those days. I received excellent care and attention from everyone while in ICU, but there were a few caregivers who stood out as top-notch: nurses Doug, Christine, Melissa, and Amanda, as well as RTs Amanda, Doug, Jeff and Ben.
