Letter from our CNO
Dear Nursing Colleague:
It has been my privilege to serve as the Chief Nursing Officer at Memorial since 1991. More than buildings and equipment, Memorial is defined by the compassion, dedication and skill of our nursing staff. Memorial's Magnet designation, awarded in 2006, proves that our nurses are among the best in the nation and that their practice reflects the highest standards of nursing excellence. It also validates Memorial's ongoing commitment to maintaining a work environment in which nurses can thrive and their career aspirations can be achieved.
What makes Memorial nurses unique? They are passionate about their practice and unwavering in their commitment to making a difference every day in the lives of the patients and families they serve. If you think you might be the right kind of nurse to join our nursing community - one who really wants to contribute and grow in an environment rich in professional satisfaction - I invite you to learn more about nursing at Memorial by visiting the rest our website and by contacting our Human Resources department at (217) 788-3580.
Whether you're an experienced nurse, a new graduate, a nursing student or an individual who is considering nursing as a potential career choice, I think you'll be impressed by what it means to be a Memorial nurse!
