Memorial Home Services Hospice, Taylorville Memorial Hospital to Host Service of Remembrance
A memorial service for families of hospice patients and patients of Taylorville Memorial Hospital will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 28, at First Presbyterian Church, 116 E. Franklin St.
Memorial Home Services Hospice and Taylorville Memorial Hospital are co-sponsoring the service, which offers a time of reflection for families and friends to remember loved ones through liturgy, Scripture and song.
The service is also open to the public. All participants will have the opportunity to light a candle to remember a loved one they have lost within the last year.
“Our memorial service is a celebration of life,” Bitsy Knepler, bereavement coordinator for Memorial Home Services Hospice, said. “It’s a chance for family members to remember their loved ones and reconnect with the hospice team.”
