Course DescriptionIn this module we will look at insurance coverage for bariatric surgery and all of the pre-operative services at Memorial Medical Center. We will discuss coverage and benefits as well as out of pocket expenses, insurance requirements and the steps necessary for the approval of bariatric surgery. We will also discuss what happens if your surgery is denied and go over Affordable Option plans and the role that Memorial Bariatric Services will play with your insurance company.
