Memorial Hospice Gala - sponsored by Memorial Medical Foundation
Memorial's Hospice Gala a Success
Approximately 400 people attended the second annual Memorial's Hospice Gala held Saturday, April 27, at the Crowne Plaza.
The evening featured inspirational keynote speaker and storyteller, Jack McCall, CSP.
Proceeds from the Gala and silent auction benefitted the Sharing Wishes Fund, which helps make wishes come true for hospice patients and their families. "Whether it's a special family-and-friends gathering or a visit from a distant loved one, your donation can help make the wish of a hospice patient become a reality," said Elena Kezelis, Executive Director of Memorial Medical Center Foundation.
The goal of hospice is to focus on quality of life for every patient. As a team, hospice works to enhance this quality of life physically, emotionally and spiritually. "Much time is spent reflecting with patients and families about their memories, hopes and dreams. With the help of the Sharing Wishes Fund, we have fulfilled the wishes of many hospice patients," added Kezelis.
More than $25,0000 was raised for the Sharing Wishes Fund. If you would like to help make the wishes of our hospice patients come true, donate to Memorial's Sharing Wishes Fund today.
