Mission
The Foundation's mission is to exclusively promote, support, develop, encourage and accept funds for construction or remodeling, administrative purposes, staffing expenses, and for any other legitimate purpose of Memorial Medical Center and Memorial Health System, both Illinois not-for-profit corporations.
On behalf of Memorial Medical Center and Memorial Health System, the Foundation also solicits and receives gifts and contributions for charitable healthcare service organizations as the Board of Directors may from time to time determine. The Foundation supports the charitable programs of such organizations through expenditure of such funds received; and exclusively supports, develops, and encourages charitable, educational, scholastic, and scientific purposes.
Vision
The Memorial Medical Center Foundation develops resources that give residents of the region access to the best possible healthcare. Our vision is to improve the health and well-being of the populations we serve.
The resources we develop support patient care, education and research. This includes caring for new life, educating and supporting caregivers, ensuring a healthier future through research, nurturing and treating those who are ill and caring for those who are dying with dignity. Our vision is to improve the quality of life.
We believe that through philanthropic support, the quality of life for individuals, their families and their loved ones will be enhanced.
