Celebrating 20 Years of Excellence: A Tapestry of Nursing Research
In its 20th anniversary year, this conference will focus on the challenges and achievements in nursing research. Dr. Linda Chlan, a national expert on nursing interventions in acute and critical care, will discuss her experiences as a clinical expert and nationally-funded clinical researcher. Dr. Caroline Mallory, a leader in nursing research in Illinois, will describe the evolution of nursing science over the last 20 years and into the future. Focusing on real-world issues, podium and poster presenters will showcase their work in research and evidence-based practice. Join us as we celebrate our 20th anniversary and help us to create a Tapestry of Nursing Research!
Upon completion of this program, the learner will be able to:
• Describe how nursing research affects clinical practice.
• Identify evidence-based practice strategies that improve patient outcomes.
• Describe the state of nursing science as it has developed over the last 20 years.
